Contact BorderIQ
BorderIQ is made by IPNS Technologies, a Malaysia-based technology company. One inbox reaches the people who maintain the product and these guides: [email protected]. There is no sales team in front of it and no ticket portal to register for.
What to send, and where it goes
| If you have | Send us | What we do with it |
|---|---|---|
| A correction in a guide | The article address, the sentence or figure, and the official source that contradicts it | We verify against the primary source, fix it if we agree, re-date the page, and tell you what changed |
| Feedback on a crossing estimate | Checkpoint, direction, transport mode, the range you saw and roughly when | It goes into the same accuracy picture the model is judged on; the app's own start-and-finish timer is the most useful version of this |
| A bug in the web app | Device and browser, what you expected, what happened, a screenshot if you have one | We reproduce it and fix it in the next deployment; there is no app-store build to wait for |
| Language or accessibility issues | Which language, which screen, and what reads badly | The interface ships in English, Bahasa Melayu, Chinese and Tamil; we correct wording rather than leave a machine translation standing |
| Data, API or partnership questions | What you want to do with the data and at what volume | Answered by the same team; we are honest about what the estimates can and cannot support |
| Hosting or development work | A short brief | IPNS Technologies also builds web applications, system integration and hosting services — see ipnst.com |
Privacy when you write to us
Send only what the question needs. We do not want your passport number, vehicle plate, IC number or full name, and messages that include them are handled as sensitive data with no extra protection guarantees beyond our privacy policy. Crossing estimates are built from anonymous aggregate reports and public data sources; nothing in the product asks where you are, and a submission timer does not record location. If you report a checkpoint camera or a data source that looks wrong, tell us which one and when — that is enough for us to check it.
How quickly we reply
This is a small company, so replies are not instant. Corrections and bugs are read before marketing questions, because a wrong figure in front of commuters is the most expensive thing on the site. If a rule you spotted affects whether people can cross — a permit requirement, a fee change, an entry condition — put that in the subject line and we will look first. If you do not hear back within a few working days, send it once more; a message that lands in spam is a real possibility and a second copy costs you nothing.
What we cannot help with
We are not the immigration authority and cannot advise on whether you personally are allowed to enter, how long a pass is valid, or what an officer will decide at the counter. For Singapore entry requirements, vehicle permits and checkpoint operations, the publishers are ICA, LTA OneMotoring and, on the Malaysia side, the Immigration Department and JPJ. For a live traffic picture on the Singapore side, LTA and ICA publish checkpoint traffic updates. If your trip is at stake, use our pages to plan and the authorities' pages to confirm.
One address
[email protected] — corrections, product feedback, bugs, data questions and business enquiries all go to the same place, and the same team reads them. The product itself is free at borderiq.cc; there is no account to open and no app to install.
